The former Vibixa site on the corner of Wymans Lane and Runnings Road contains significant amounts of asbestos. Permission has been granted for the buildings to be demolished. The Parish Council is monitoring the developer's plans to ensure that local residents and businesses are not at risk.

The planned closure of Swindon Lane at its junction with Wymans Lane from 8th July 2019 through 17th July 2019 has been cancelled. It is no longer deemed necessary.
The Parish Council's accounts for 2018-2019 are available on this website. The period during which the public have the right to examine the Council's accounts begins on 17th June and runs until 26th July (the formal notice is here). The accounts and the Council's business dealings can be challenged by any one with a concern.
