The level crossing will be closed at the level crossing from 11pm on Saturday 22nd August until 9:00am Sunday 23rd August 2015 to allow for track maintenance works.

The travellers have set up camp in the park in Swindon Village again. It requires combined action by Cheltenham Borough Council (as landowner) and the police to move them on.

A first draft of the Cheltenham Local Plan will be the subject of a consultation running from 22nd June to 3rd August. The Cheltenham Local Plan is intended to guide development in Cheltenham up to 2031.

I organised a litter pick on behalf of the Parish Council for Wednesday 18th March. My first concern was about the numbers attending. I am not sure which would be worse; me on my own or me surrounded by 200 people. The first fear was soon allayed when we became a workable working party of twelve.

Parish Councillors attended a meeting organised by the Borough Council to discuss the latest plans for the North West Urban Extension proposed in the JCS.

The Parish Council is making an application for a Local Green Space designation for the fields to the north west of the parish.
