The County Council are planning to close Swindon Lane at the Wymans Lane end from 10:30pm on the 6th September to 8:30am on 7th September for level crossing repairs by Network Rail.
The Parish Council is aware of the large fallen chestnut tree branch in the Amenity Area. The matter is in hand and we are in consultation with experts.
Travellers again broke into the park and caused thousands of pounds of damage as well as terrorising and intimidating local residents. There will be more to come in the fallout from this.
Swindon Lane will be the subject of a couple of closures.
A new water main is being installed that will cross Wymans Lane at the entrance to the Festival Trade Park (the former Vibixa site). Traffic lights will be in operation as traffic will only be able to pass the works in single file. The works should be completed by 2nd July.
