Proposed Cheltenham Mini Holland Scheme

Gloucestershire County Council is seeking ways to encourage more walking and cycling in Cheltenham. Mini-Holland schemes are designed to explore how we can make UK cities and towns as pedestrian and cycle-friendly as their Dutch equivalents.

The County Council is looking to submit an application to secure funding from the Department for Transport to deliver a Mini-Holland scheme in Cheltenham. It is keen to ensure local stakeholders play a part in shaping active travel infrastructure, in order to make Cheltenham a better, safer and more convenient place to cycle and walk.

You can read about Mini-Holland schemes and take part in the survey.
