More on the Home Farm Planning Application

In response to additional documents from the prospective site developers the Parish Council has submitted further comments on the Home Farm planning application. Click on "Planning Highlights" above to view the application and the Parish Council's comments. Our fundamental objection is that the developer would like to go ahead with the development before Elms Park provides connecting roads and other infrastructure. This would mean construction traffic using Quat Goose Lane and Brockhampton Lane and, once the development is complete, a huge increase in residential traffic on these narrow, rural lanes. There will also be no additional schools, medical and other facilities to support these new residents. The Parish Council has done all it can to make people aware of what is going on, with the result that many residents have voiced their concerns.
