A reminder that the Annual Parish Meeting will take place on Wednesday 18th May 2022. We intent to discuss the major developments that will be taking place and the implications for the parish.

We have been made aware of some of the practical difficulties involved in recycling certain materials, principally foil and shredded paper.

In celebration of the Queen's platinum jubilee a FREE Picnic in the Park is being organised in Swindon Village Park (Wymans Lane/Church Road) on Saturday 4th June.

Celebrations of the Platinum Jubilee are expected to take place on Sunday 5th and/or across that Bank Holiday weekend. The Borough Council has provided extensive guidance on the rules surrounding the organisation of street parties.

Six people put their names forward for the Parish Council. As we have nine seats these six were elected unopposed.

To tie in with the national Keep Britain Tidy Spring Clean campaign the Parish Council is organising a litter pick. Please join us at 10:30am on 26th March at the Mary Godwin Pavilion in the park on Wymans Lane.

With the relaxation of remaining coronavirus-related restrictions the Community Hub, established to provide support to people during the pandemic, has now closed.
