Cheltenham Borough Council was seeking volunteers to assist with their roll out of the Coronavirus vaccine. There has been an overwhelming response to the appeal, so no more volunteers are needed at this time.
From 2nd December the second national coronavirus lock down will be over and we will be subject to Tier 2 rules. The government has also announced the special rules that apply during the Christmas period. They have also published making a Christmas bubble with friends and family.
Various options have been considered for making M5 junction 10 four (rather than two) way. The Parish Council held a working session via Zoom to formulate a response.
The end date for the closure has changed to Monday 23rd November. I am told it will be open by 5:00pm.
The County Council wish to hear from users of public transport about their experiences within the county. This includes trains, buses and taxis.
This road will be closed (as per this plan) from 30/11/20 until 04/12/20 to allow for drainage works.

The government has published details of the new national restrictions from 5th November.
I have received complaints that the broadband service offered by BT is very poor in the area. That was also my experience in the past. I have since moved to Virgin Media, but surely BT should offer a decent, competitive service to its customers. BT provides the basic infrastructure over which service providers (not just BT but Plusnet, Talk Talk, etc.) can offer their broadband and TV services.
Highways England is consulting on the proposals to make the A417 a dual carriageway all the way from Brockworth to Cirencester. It is outside the parish but of interest to many in the area.
