Manor Road

Given the effect that the closure of Manor Road is having on local residents and businesses the Parish Council has been pressing the developer to do all they can to reopen the road as soon as possible. The reopening date was 23rd August and we held a couple of meetings with the developer in an effort to understand, and hopefully reduce, the duration of the closure. We thought we had an open and honest dialogue yet the date for the reopening has now been move to 4th October 2024 without any discussion. This is very disappointing. We are trying to understand what is going on. The reason appears to be the "discovery" of a gas main that needs to be rerouted.
