David Iliffe, long time Parish Councillor, passed away on 25th July. David’s knowledge and patience (and sense of humour) were a huge help to me when I became Parish Clerk. David was made our first Freeman of the Parish on 8th August 2017 for his outstanding service to the parish. David moved to Stroud for family reasons but always retained his love of Swindon Parish. Our thoughts are with David’s family and many friends.
