Roadworks on the Evesham Road

Gloucestershire County Council will shortly be undertaking embankment stabilisation works on a section of the A435 Evesham Road near Cheltenham Racecourse to repair and support the highway. The proposed works are due to take place from early November for approximately 14 weeks, during which time a single lane closure will be in place. Access will be maintained for landowners to the adjacent fields within the works area and one lane will remain open to allow continued traffic flow. Delays can be expected during this time.

Also note that section 2.1 of the cycleway scheme is due to commence in January 2025. Please refer to the website A435 Improvement Schemes for information on both schemes.
