Lynne Allen

Councillor Lynne Allen has lived in Swindon Village for 36 years and loves living here. Her first employment was at GCHQ for 8 years and then Lynne worked in Education as a School Bursar, finally retiring after 27 years. In 2018 she returned to work part time at a Special Needs School and finished working there at the end of January 2023.
Lynne’s hobbies are travelling, singing in a local choir, learning to play the piano (very poorly!) and gardening.
Lynne is our newest councillor and hopes to contribute to the matters that can arise within the Parish, such as the proposed housing development at Elms Park and how this will impact on Swindon Village. She is already rolling up her sleeves and making a valuable contribution!
