Due to the corona virus pandemic this meeting will be held by audio/video link as permitted under The Local Authorities and Police and Crime Panels (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authority and Police and Crime Panel Meetings) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020. By law members of the press and public must be permitted to observe the proceedings of council meetings. Anyone wishing to join the meeting must contact the Clerk in advance to obtain the required information.
There have again been reports locally of people experiencing unpleasant odours. The suspicion is that the culprit is either the Wingmoor Farm land fill site or the Brockhampton sewage treatment works. It is important that these problems are reported to the Environment Agency by calling 0800 807060. The EA can collate the information and investigate the cause.

The law has been temporarily changed to allow parish council meetings to be conducted by audio or video link with participants not in the same physical location. NALC guidance has been issued.
