The Borough Council is consulting in respect of Council Tax Support for 2020-21.

Cheltenham Borough Council and Tewkesbury Borough Council are consulting on their plans for developments in West Cheltenham. Whilst this is not within our area we are bound to be affected.

Swindon Lane is scheduled to be closed at the level crossing from 23:05hrs Saturday 5th October until 08:20hrs Sunday 6th October 2019.

The former Vibixa site on the corner of Wymans Lane and Runnings Road contains significant amounts of asbestos. Permission has been granted for the buildings to be demolished. The Parish Council is monitoring the developer's plans to ensure that local residents and businesses are not at risk.

Rail users travelling via Gloucester may experience delays in the above period.

The planned closure of Swindon Lane at its junction with Wymans Lane from 8th July 2019 through 17th July 2019 has been cancelled. It is no longer deemed necessary.

The Parish Council's accounts for 2018-2019 are available on this website. The period during which the public have the right to examine the Council's accounts begins on 17th June and runs until 26th July (the formal notice is here). The accounts and the Council's business dealings can be challenged by any one with a concern.

The works are anticipated to complete largely on time. However, there is a need for an additional closure to allow for installation of the traffic loops on Saturday 18th May.

This road will be closed at the level crossing from 23:00hrs Monday 14th May until 05:00hrs Tuesday 15th May 2019 to allow for barrier maintenance and repairs by Network Rail.

The Annual Parish Meeting will take place on Thursday 16th May 2019 commencing at 7:30pm in the Village Hall. The meeting is open to everyone in the parish.
