Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust is undertaking an activity locally to encourage the poor old hedgehog, an animal that has declined in recent years.

Tewkesbury Road will be closed for carriageway resurfacing between 17th May and 14th June (not including weekends), with night works from 2000 to 0700 daily. To ensure the safety of road users and the workforce, it will be necessary to close the carriageway in one direction and then the other, because of the road width and machinery that will be used.

On Thursday 3rd May 2018 a poll will be held to elect a borough councillor for the Swindon Village ward.

Swindon Road is expected to be closed overnight from 9:30pm until 6:00am from 9th April until 13th April. Highways will again be cutting back overhanging vegetation.

The Joint Core Strategy (JCS) has been formally adopted and now forms the basis of planning policy in the areas of Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and Gloucester.
